Hi, I'm Bella! Right now, I'm studying computer science at Carnegie Mellon University with intention to minor in Software Engineering and Animation and Special Effects. I love solving problems and taking on challenging new projects in CS. Outside of my studies, I enjoy video editing as well as reading and writing fantasy and science fiction.

My personal projects are varied. Besides designing and programming transitions for my own anime music videos (AMVs), I have edited production videos for the Sitka Fine Arts Camp and taught coding and video editing to middle-school students at the Sitka Public Library during past summers. My current projects include working on a biometric shirt for patients with Dravet Syndrome and a program for achieving chroma key effects using an arbitrary background.

Recently, I've been exploring software development in security and worked with Salesforce security teams to do design reviews, identify security risks, and create automated support for finding non-rotated secrets.

I can be reached at ilaybour@andrew.cmu.edu.
