Overview and purpose of the course

This course is a continuation of 33-331 and together these two courses cover the subject of classical mechanics.  The main topics of this semester include the motions of rigid bodies and the treatment of oscillations, including simple harmonic motion, anharmonic oscillators, and coupled oscillators.
