The functions of the Guest Speakers & Social Committee are fairly straightforward. We look for any professionals in Finance to come and speak to the student body about all Finance-related topics. This includes investment strategies, corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, and other general subject areas. We will also work with other business organizations on campus to create a guest speaker series every semester. In addition to bringing in guest speakers, we plan social events such as faculty-student dinners, social hours, and other networking events to help acquaint students with their peers as well as with GSIA professors and outside professionals. The intent of events is to increase participation in UFA. Any ideas you can bring is much appreciated. |
