1. A new Design Server (bigger, faster) will be available beginning Wednesday, August 29. This server is larger and will serve as class storage as well as general temporary storage with volumes like "The Pit" and "Fast Storage". These temporary storage volumes will not be backed up, nor is the information protected. Anyone with the Design username and password may have access to this information. These temporary storage volumes serve only as a "use at your own risk" basis.
2. The Reese cluster will officially open September 4 and will begin taking color print submissions the following week.
   
   
3. EVERY MONDAY BETWEEN 12-1 PM THE SERVER IS CLEANED... The Design Server, KeyServer and StudioServer will be disconnected every Monday for their weekly cleaning and class volume backup. Everything on the Volumes "Fast Storage", "The Pit" and the macshare volume on the StudioServer is deleted. Design Server storage is for temporary storage only. This practice will happen every Monday from 12-1pm.
   
   
4. NEW PASSWORD TO DESIGN SERVER, COLOR PRINT SERVER & REESE MACHINES... If you need the password, CHECK YOUR EMAIL. If you didn't get the email, you don't get the password.
