The first meeting of class will be held in Porter Hall 226A
on August 28 (Monday), 3:30 pm-4:50 pm.
The schedule on August 28 (the first day) is as follows:
1. Class begins, Course introduction
2. Student self-introduction
3. Talk about your summer vacation
4. Your expectations from this course
5. Class activity
After the break, you might not have spoken Chinese for a while. This is a good chance for you to practice and try to get your Chinese back. You might want to think about how to use Chinese to introduce yourself and tell us about your summer vacation ahead of time. See you in class.

Conversation Partners: If you are interested in looking for a language exchange (English-Chinese) conversation partner,
you can come to my office (245A) to sign up. We have some students
from China and Taiwan who are also interested in this exchange program. Have fun!

Mid-autumn festival celebrations: There will be a Mid-autumn festival celebration sponsored by the Chinese/Hongkong/Taiwan/Singapore students associations on Sept. 15 (F) in the University Center. It starts at 7:00 PM. Free moon cakes and lion dancing will be provided.
