Social Responsibilities |
|
Was Enron a good corporate citizen? Many
pointed to its alleged attempts to win influence and favor by giving
large campaign donations to many politicians. Some say that they had
a hand in designing the Bush Administration energy policy by getting
preferential treatment from Vice President Dick Cheney. Still others
point to the charitable giving done by the firm as a sign of its socially responsible efforts. This section examines
this aspect of Enrons corporate citizenship. |
