Procedural Stuff

Welcome to Distributed Systems!

Today we covered mostly the procedural stuff which can be found on-line. If you didn't make it to class, you want to be particularly careful to get a copy of the syllabus from this Web site and give it a read.

I think the only item that wasn't on the syllabus is that I intend for the three exams to be "take home" exams this semester -- that lets me ask more interesting questions (and eliminates bad handwriting). But, this isn't a promise, I reserve the right to give them as in class exams -- and will likely exercise that right in the event of some super-unlikely things, for example as a suspected cheating scandal.
