HW8

Freshly prepared distilled, de-ionized water has a pH of...surprise...7. If it is left standing in air, however, the water slowly absorbs carbon dioxide from the air and becomes acidic. Calculate the pH of such aged water at equilibrium with the atmosphere which, as of today, contains CO2 at a partial pressure of 0.000382 atm. Henry's Law will probably prove of value in solving this question.
