The equilibrium vapor pressures of liquid C2H5OH and C3H8OH at 310 K are 108 and 40 mm Hg respectively. A mixture of liquid C2H5OH and C3H8OH behaves ideally at 310 K. (i) Determine graphically the mole fraction of C3H8OH in such a mixture that boils at 310 K and 72 mm Hg pressure. (ii) What is the total vapor pressure over a mixture at 310 K if the mole fraction of C3H8OH is 0.60? (iii) Calculate the composition of the vapor in the previous part.
