Operation of the Balanced Diet Tracker is simple and easy. At the start of each day simply load the tracker with the correct number of serving pellets for each of the five food group. This could range between 15 and 26 serving pellets.


Now each time you stop to eat, pull out the tracker before you take a bite. Take a second to count up the number of servings you will be eating from each of the five food groups and remove an appropriate colored pellet for each serving. After only the first meal, the tracker will begin to serve as planner for the rest of the day. Whenever you are wondering what to have for your next meal or better yet, what you should have, just pull out the pellet gauge to see how many servings and of which food group you need to balance out your daily diet. Deciding what to make for dinner just became ten times easier.

The next morning all you have to do is reload the pellets you took out from the previous day. If the total servings seemed either too high or too low then refer back to the chart on calculating the correct number of servings. With the help of the tracker, you are now on your way to a lifetime of balanced and proper nutrition.
