Welcome to Rui Huang's Home

I am a PhD student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. My advisor is Prof. Lorenz Bieger. We are in the group of Process System Engineering and Center for Advanced Process Decision-making (CAPD).

Before coming here at 2006, I got my Master degree from department of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China, with the research interest of modeling and simulating petrochemical plant. Besides I also got my Bachelor degree from the same department.

Large scale Dynamic Optimization and its applications

Approximatning DAE model by simultaneous strategy and solving the resulting NLP using interior point method.

Fast algorithm of Nonlinear Model predictive control, Nonlinear Moving Horizen Estimationits application.

Applying NMPC and MHE to rigourous model, using NLP sensitivity to get online solution almost instaneously.
