Community Service

The Delta-Alpha Chapter of Kappa Sigma participates in community service events for many reasons. We believe that it is the right thing to do as an organization created for brotherhood, friendship, and social well-being. Each activity that we do brings us closer together and helps someone who is less fortunate.

Every year we contribute many hours to our sponsor philanthropy, Pittsburgh Cares. We have worked with Pittsburgh Cares over the past several years and they laud Kappa Sigma as one of the most generous and well-respected fraternities in the Pittsburgh region. For more information, please visit: www.pittsburghcares.org.

We participate in many on-campus events as well. Some of the events that we have participated in are Kappa Alpha Theta's Mr. Fraternity, the Kappa Dash, Delta Gamma's Anchor Slam, Dollars for Katrina, Alternative Break, Greek Sing, Shenley Park Cleanup, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Habitat for Humanity among others.
