I did an internship with IBM where I designed and implemented a study for evaluating collaborative aspect of DocWizards, a tool which automatically generates and replays procedural documentation

a Research Associate @ Carnegie Mellon University

2004.05 ~ 2005.05:: Pittsburgh, PA
I worked as a research assistant II for the department of Language Technology Institue at Carnegie Mellon University.

1. Looking at the impact of a peer learner in the subject of calculus for which I designed the experiment materials.
2.Designing a tool that would help researchers build knowledge construction dialogues to help facilitate the analyses of their experimental research. For this project, I was the design lead responsible for guiding the team.
3. Project that looks at an interface for facilitating content analysis of corpus data. We compared an adaptive interface with a non adaptive interface to see whether the accuracy level of coding and inter-rater reliability of novice coders will increase.

I did an internship with BravoBrava. BravoBrava is a small company with about 20 people.
My main project here was a smart fride which is part of a smart home system called MiHome.
Implementing the fridge includes using voice recognition, hand writing recognition, & face recognition

This is my first internship. Gene Logic is a bio tech company.
Here I was first introduced to "User Interface" (woo~).
I actually enjoyed working on the project and this is where I started looking into HCI.
I worked on creating a data tree for the database in the company.

My job here as was to operate, service, and perform maintain all computer labs in School of Public Health. I also served as consultant to students regarding rudiments of computer hardware and software operation. I worked part time.

Here, I worked under Louping Zhang who is a scientist. I did database management for leukemia study research in the School. I also did Internet related errands, such as online ordering and searching. This was a part time job.

I worked part time at JuJu, a clothing store on telegraph in berkeley. I managed general sales for customers to promote the business.
