I am currently working in the DC area for the
federal government, and I am a
doctoral student in advanced candidacy in Engineering and
Public
Policy at Carnegie
Mellon University (in absentia).
This page is dedicated to my academic endeavors, primarily
while at CMU, and will not be updated often.
Recent Projects
"Preserving
Privacy by De-Identifying Face Images," with co-authors Latanya
Sweeney and Bradley Malin. (This is actually not recent work, as it was
my qualifier research from 2 years ago for which we produced a tech
report,
but it debuts this Febuary in a peer-reviewed publication, IEEE
Transactions on
Knowledge and Data
Engineering.)
The BLOTTER
SPOTTER - My blog at Stanford Law's CIS demonstrates how many
counties and cities across the country are putting arrest records online
(without a conviction). Is this TMI?
