Cut and Assembly

The Furniture Factory then displays the 2D parts and their newly created joints in the Parts window. Furniture Factory labels on faces and edges to help users assemble their furniture. For example, it labels “TABLE-TOP” on one of faces and it labels “L (left)”, “R (right)”, “B (bottom)” and “T (top)” on four edges of “TABLE-TOP”. Then Furniture Factory generates HPGL code to cut the furniture parts on a laser cutter ready to assemble. The picture shows the cut drawings of parts, the cut panels and assembled furniture.
