If your sketched shape has a small opening,
When you sketch a shape, which has a small opening, Fold-out Maker generates two folding lines, because it is too fragile to fold a small part. Therefore, Fold-out Maker generates two folding lines after it finds out the corners of your sketched shape; one is from a start point of the opening to the farthest corner. The other one is from a end point to the farthest corner. For example, when you draw the petals of a flower, it generates foldings lines for you. The following pictures show you the screen shot of the system and the created fold-out crafts.
In the following pictures, a user sketches leaves and flowers in the sketchpad with red lines. Fold-out Maker creates folding lines on the calculated positions. The generated folding lines are drawn in blue.
