My Favorite Hobbies...
- Piano: I started when I was in 5th grade with Ms. Chung
(she's a very talented musician who graduated from Juliard) and
she's been my teacher ever since. Although I've played in 12
recitals I still like to play for my own enjoyment. My favorite
piece is Serenade by Schubert.
- Drawing: I love the arts but
especially art. I got my first drawing book when I was 5 and
I've been hooked ever since.
- Reading: nothing beats snuggling up in bed reading a good book.
I love reading a variety of books: mystery, fantasy, and biographies
just to name a few.
- Skiing: I've been skiing since 6th grade and although I
wouldn't consider myself a great skier I do love the sport.
There's such a thrill flying in the wind racing down a slope.
My favorite ski mountain is Sunday River; ski lovers you must
give this place a try:)
- Swimming: It's such a relaxing sport for me and it's great
exercise. CMU has a pretty decent pool too.
- Gardening: It's been a challenge to make a garden paradise
out of my home garden. It's not quite there yet but I find
gardening very relaxing and the results quite rewarding. We have
quite a few irises at my house however I'm always looking for new
additions.
