About Me

I am currently a PhD Candidate in Electrical & Computer Engineering Department in Carnegie Mellon University.  My advisor is Professor Tonguz.

Before I came to Carnegie Mellon, I was a researcher in the National Key Laboratory of Switching Technology & Telecommunication Networks in China and an instructor in Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunication

I got my M.S.  and B.Sc. degree in Information and Electronic Engineering Department in Zhejiang University

Research

I am currently working with image processing and measurement of eye movement for medical applications.  It involves detection of pupil change, horizontal, vertical and torsional movement of human eyes under certain stimulations. Abnormal response in eye movement is related with problems in balance functions, diseases such as diabetics. The accurate detection of eye movement is helpful in diagnosing or initial screening of these diseases.

My previous researches include Analysis of Multi-hop Wireless Network, the Intelligent Network in Telecommunications  and Computer Vision
