First General Body Meeting
9-15-2008 - Second General Body Meeting

By popular demand, we've extended the deadline for application and set up a second general body meeting to introduce the UEA to everyone who couldn't make it last time. The content will be the same, so if you came last time, you don't have to come again. However, we will be having pizza and soda (with a more equitable pizza/soda ratio) so just come for some food anyway!
So the extended deadline for applications is Friday, 9/26. Get your resumes in by then, and we'll hold interviews that weekend.

4-6-2008 - Congratulations to the winners of the 2008 Tepper Venture Challenge. We had a very successful competition between six teams from three different schools. Here are the three winning teams:
- First Place - Venom Ready from Grove City
- Second Place - zenoThink from CMU
- Thrid Place - SafeDesk from CMU

9-8-2008 - The Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Association would like to invite you to our first general body meeting of the year!

If you've got a business idea and want to put it in motion, want to learn how to raise money or grow your current start-up, want to connect with other students who are interested in starting businesses, or just get involved with a club on campus, the UEA is a great place to start.
Agenda: We'll introduce the executive board, discuss our events for this year, and talk about our open board positions (what they entail and what you need to do to apply). Of course there will be pizza and drinks!

Business Plan Workshop
2-22-2008 - The UEA will be hosting this workshop to get you geared up for the Tepper Venture Challenge in April. Come learn more about how you can transform your ideas into a detailed business plan. The knowledge is useful for all those wanting to start a company someday but don't have sufficient knowledge of the logistics.

1-16-2008 - This is your chance to submit your business plan and present it to a panel of judges. The best Undergraduate pitches will win prizes upto $500 and a bid to the Tepper Venture Challenge held in April.
