why theta.

friendship, love, and life changing..." - Adriene Sakamoto

"I had a really hard time choosing which house to join during FMR. I knew I wanted to be greek, but I was torn between theta and another house. It was actually a sister from the house I didn't end up chosing that helped me make my decision. At final party I told her I was struggling with the decision and asked her how she chose. She told me that so many things in life are just a leap of faith, including joining a sorority. You can never be absolutely sure if it is the right or wrong choice, but you just have to put yourself out there. It is the same with picking a college or your major, no one can tell you what to do, and you may not even be sure at the time you make your decision. My gut feeling was to chose theta, and I have never regretted it! Because of that conversation I decided to be a rho sig, and then to be
on panhel exec, so that I could help other people find the right house for them and have the amazing experiences I had. " -Janelle Campos

"I knew I wanted to be a Theta the second I walked into the house during the first night of FMR. It was my last house and I was excited for the night to end, but the second I walked into Theta I felt at home and as if I never wanted the night to end. It clicked for me right away that I wanted to be a Theta and hasn't left me still then." - Hannah Lebovich

"Joining Theta gave me a family when I was far away from my own, which helped make school seem more like home." - Stephanie Kim

"It was the house I felt most comfortable. I wasn't planning on joining a house even after FMR, but just being in the house with all the girls, everyone was so enthusiastic and nice and fun! I just felt like I was already a part of it, before I even became a sister."- Rho Sigma
