GemTypes:
1. Sqlite 3 Gem: While developing and testing our
system, we used “SQlite 3” as the standard database.
2. pg Gem: We used the “pg” gem in the production stage.
“While making our product available to customers, we used the “pg” gem because Heroku supports PostgreSQL RDBMS.”
This option follows the “While making” structure to form “While developing,” parallel both to “while” and the “-ing” form of the verb (“making,” “developing”).
“During the production stage, we used the “pg” gem because Heroku supports PostgreSQL RDMS.”
This option also follows the sequencing of the “While making” structure by placing the project’s stage first. But the project’s stage is worded as a thing, “producing stage” and not as an action like “While making” in the previous structure.Something more consistent could be “While Producing, etc.”
“We used the “pg” gem in the production stage because Heroku supports PostgreSQL.”
This option, unlike the first two options, does not follow the sequencing of the “While making” structure, and places the project’s stage later: “We used...in the production stage.” Like the previous option, the wording of the project’s stage is not consistent with the “While making” structure because it is again worded as a thing rather than an action.
