Rush
Rush is a period of time for recruitment for the fraternities on campus. It is a specific period of time (usually 2 weeks) in which all of the fraternities host events and try to meet new people. It is a time for people to meet and learn about the fraternities, as well as the fraternities to meet new people. If you're interested in meeting new people, I would recommend going to at least a couple of rush events. If you're interested in greek life, I would urge you to check out as many as possible. Try to learn about all the different fraternities before making a decision - nobody's going to force you to decide immediately.
