Student Government at CMU
The purpose of Student Government shall be to safeguard and promote the
welfare of the Student Body by: enacting legislation, supervising and coordinating
the execution and financing of extracurricular activities, effecting punitive
measures with respect to the rules outlined in the constitution, and by acting
as a representative body to present the views of students to the faculty and
administration.
