Faculty Senate (Anne Shields): A modified version of the Student Sentate's resolution on b-board policy was passed. Student Affairs (Kevin Hughes): Applications for the second annual Carnegie Mellon Leadership Institute can be picked up in Warner Hall 301. They are due back by November 18. Kerry Lucci is putting on a series of programs entitled "Breaking the Silence" about sexual assault. It will be held on December 3 beginning at 10:00. For more information email her at ku22. Five new chairs are missing from the new Cyert Hall Lounge. Contact Donna Donovan if you have information concerning their whereabouts. SDC (Adam Davis): Last week's movie, Speed, was a success. This week's movie is True Lies. President (Declan McCullagh): No report. Treasurer (Emma Gosden): The Men's Lacrosse budget has still been frozen, all other audits will proceed as scheduled. Committee Reports: Academic Affairs (Kami White): A survey was distributed to 1,000 students, concerning ways to improve the enrollment process. A meeting is scheduled with Dr. Mehrabian to discuss the results. Another survey pertaining to the state of classrooms is still being compiled. Campus Affairs (Cheryl Gach): No report. Funding and Recognition (Merle Atkinson): Current consensus indicates that the lounge proposed by the GSO would not be used. Contact the committee with opinion s on the issue. Human Resources (Troy Benowitz): No report. Public Relations (Eduardo Gonzalez): No report. Chair (Burt Holzman): The chair wishes to thank the leaving senators for serving, and would like to thank the elections board for their hard work.
