    Master Series from SDRC
    N3S from EDF
Note that the input (and output) is the description of a mesh : nodes, elements, colors/groups for boundary conditions. Introducing a new input may be done if requested

Engineering Discipline: Structural, CFD

Elements: Triangle, Tetrahedra

Surface Meshing: Yes

Tri/Tet Method:

The first mesh has to be created by a mesh generator. Then, the following meshes are obtained by refinement/coarsening of elements.

Element Sizing Method:

Other Features: Adaptivity, Refinement

HOMARD provides statistics about meshes which are obtained when refining/coarsening : quality of elements, levels, interactive aks for element. It gives some output to visualize the refinement levels. Mesh adaptation is driven by error indicators over elements; an uniform refinement may be obtained for special applications (multi-grid methods).

Comments:

HOMARD is a stand-alone commercial product for mesh refinement/coarsening. Licenses may be requested by sending an e-mail to the support : homard@edfgdf.fr. See the web site for further detail.

CPU time is low. It is always much lower than the CFD or structural computation which is made with the mesh.
