Availability: Public Domain, Commercial Code, Stand-alone Mesh/Grid Generator

Customer Support: Yes

Approximate Number of Users: 45

Pricing: Free to beta testers, free to educational institution, Licensing for commercial applications

Platform: UNIX (SGI, Sun, Dec alpha, Cray)

NT support comming within the next yr.

Input:

Basic input format is boundary facets of individual components (component surface triangulations) in configuation, however tools are provided for generating these from structured surface meshes, STL files, FNF files. We have nearly completed an interface to directly read model CAD data from proE, Unigraphics and Catia.

Engineering Discipline: CFD, Electro Magnetic

    Aeroacoustics

Elements: Hexahedra

Surface Meshing: Yes

Quad/Hex Method: Geometry Decomposition

    cartesian grids

Element Sizing Method: Manual, Automatic based on feature sizes

Other Features: Anisotropy, Refinement

Anisotropy, Refinement, surface-surface intersection codes using exact arithmetic, wetted-surface extraction, internal OR external meshing of solids, 2 flow solvers, automatic surface mesh generation.

Comments:

Element shapes: OFF BODY:the mesh generator uses Adaptivley refined Cartesian hexahedra Body Intersecting: Arbitrary polyhedra (n-gons).
