A block of 50 rooms has been reserved at the Double Tree Hotel at a special
government rate of $70.75 single or $80.19 double (plus tax). To ensure
this rate, participants should make their own reservations before September
19, 1996, and must mention the "Sandia National Laboratories - 5th
International Meshing Roundtable" to receive our special rate for the
nights of October 9th-11th. Asking for a government rate will not get you
our special rate. If you have called the previously published 800 number,
you probably don't have our special rate and you should call the
412 number below to switch.

The pool and sauna are complimentary to guests and are located on the
fourth floor of the Double Tree Hotel. There is a state-of-the-art health
club located on the fourth floor which includes weights, aerobics, treadmills
and stair steppers. Guests are charged $9 to use the facility and gym shorts
and towels are supplied if necessary. You must provide your own shoes.
Parking: Parking is provided by Liberty Parking located below the Double
Tree Hotel. Below are rates to consider if driving and parking
at the hotel:
Garage Parking: $13 per day without in/out privileges (over-night guests)
Valet Parking: $16 per day with in/out privileges
Daily Rate: $10 per day between the hours of 8 am - 6 pm
Strip District: $3.50-$4.75 per day (within walking distance)

Located on the bag claim level of the airport (same level as rental cars),
they offer transportation to and from the downtown area. During the weekdays,
they have a shuttle available every 30 minutes between the hours of 7 am
- 11:40 pm. There is a schedule available for return times from the hotel
to the airport. Costs: $12 One Way, $20 Roundtrip
