The following is an attempt at compiling some of the current literature available on the subject of unstructured mesh generation. Currently over 1000 journal articles are referenced. Abstracts are cited for most of the references. Complete papers are available for the past twelve years of the annual International Meshing Roundtable.

For those new to this field, you may want to take a look at a quick introduction to mesh generation. I have also written a brief overview of some of the fundamental algorithms used in much of today's unstructured mesh generation software. As part of the survey, a list of current mesh generation software is included. Another review of software is also available on the web by CEWES.

6th Symposium on Trends in Unstructured Mesh Generation
MeshTrends VI will be held in conjunction with the 9th US National Congress on Computational Mechanics to be held in San Francisco, California, July 23-26 2007. Abstract submissions will be accepted electronically starting February 1 2007 through May 15 2007
15th International Meshing Roundtable
The 15th International Meshing Roundtable was held September 17-20, 2006, in Birmigham, Alabama, USA. Full papers are now available from this site.
5th Symposium on Trends in Unstructured Mesh Generation (MeshTrends V)
MeshTrends V was held in conjunction with the 7th World Congress on Computational Mechanics, July 16-22 2006. A special journal edition of Engineering with Computers will be published from this symposium.
14th International Meshing Roundtable
