This basic surface grid provides a base of constructing a difference size surface grid with distinct distribution surface grid. The linear transfinite interpolation is used to interpolate the grid point into each cell among the basic smooth curves. The curve approximation/interpolation that is derived by the recursive subdivision scheme has linear-time complexity. This new approach that combines the DLG scheme and the transfinite interpolation to generate the surface grid has better performance than the spline approximation schemes.
