Abstract
A method for automatic generation of tetrahedral grids/meshes in three dimensions is presented. The method is based on well known Delaunay triangulation approach, in which points can be connected using a geometric criterion to form a topologically valid non-intersecting set of tetrahedra. Automatic point creation procedures have been discussed along with the boundary integrity test. Various implementation aspects of tetrahedral grid generation are covered. Finally results are discussed with the help of various figures of grid examples in terms of efficiency of grid generator and quality of grids.
