Abstract
An interactive grid generation capability for unstructured grids is described. It relies heavily on advanced graphics workstations, such as the IRIS-4D, in order to take from the user much of the burden typically associated with the generation of grids in 3-D. After a brief outline of the technique used to generate unstructured grids, a description of the interactive input, error-checking and output capabilities developed is given. Several examples are included to illustrate the techniques and algorithms discussed.
