The unstructured grid for a given configuration is generated using the AFLR (Advancing-Front/Local-Reconnection) procedure. Rigid layers are identified close to the moving bodies which are allowed to move with the body. If a moving body has a viscous boundary condition, then the entire boundary layer is allowed to move with the body in a rigid fashion. The grid deformation takes place within a window region outside theserigid layers. An efficient procedure for identifying the windows of the moving bodies is developed.Nodes inside the windows are allowed to adapt to the body movement. Local regeneration of the window region is carried out when the deformed grid violates the quality criterion. The ability to handle the relative motion of the bodies in close proximity is also addressed. Efficiencyof the present algorithm is demonstrated using some test cases.
