Abstract
The family of Voronoi-Segment methods is introduced. A new way of controlling the orientation of meshlines is inherent in certain class of these methods. We present a comparison between methods within the family. In 2D, the quality of the meshes combined with the new possibilities to control the mesh show them to be very attractive. In 3D the same advantages cannot be directly realised.
