Abstract
Grid adaption algorithms using a node based point movement are applied to unstructured grids. Attention is focused on improvements to the overall grid quality as a result of adapting the grids. A qualitative analysis of the improvement is made using the criteria of resolution, cell face alignment and improved cell volume distribution.
