Abstract
We decribe a new tetrahedral mesh generator that is based on the Delaunay
technique and is able to create volume meshes with good quality tetrahedra
around complex geometries. The method exploits edge/face swapping techniques and
point insertion to re-establish the boundary surface. Insertion of domain points
at circum-centers of tetrahedra, followed by edge/face swapping to remove
slivers, creates a volume mesh with a smooth gradation in mesh size and low
aspect ratio tetrahedra.
