Greetings! I am Shushman Choudhury, a student in the MS program at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University. I am a member of the Personal Robotics Lab and am advised by Prof. Siddhartha Srinivasa.
I work primarily on sampling-based geometric motion planning. My work is validated and tested on HERB (the Home Exploring Robotic Butler), our lab's robot and research platform. Additionally, I also maintain and contribute to the perception stack of HERB, for which the primary application is object pose estimation.
Prior to joining CMU, I graduated with a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur . I worked with Prof. Partha Pratim Chakrabarti for my undergraduate thesis.
