The Incomplete Nifft
by Michael Shea

The Incomplete Nifft contains the World Fantasy Award winning Nifft the Lean and the second Nifft novel, The Mines of Behemoth. Nifft the lean is one of the most enjoyable fantasy novels ever written. If you've read anything by Jack Vance, imagine what Vance might write if he were on bad acid and had just read Dante's Inferno. The Mines of Behemoth isn't quite as good, but is still very much worth reading. Neither is for the squeamish--the demon subworlds imagined here are full of the kind of things that make Cthulhu and the boys look like Barney and friends. However, the violence and nightmare are really good clean fun.

"This is an important, even crucial book, with the lurid brilliance and craftsmanlike discipline of a Bosch canvas. Not to be missed."
