Jmol Tutorial: Introduction

This tutorial is intended to illustrate some of the major features of Jmol (version 11) that are useful for the display of proteins and other biological polymers (i.e. DNA). Jmol can be run either embedded in a web page or as a stand-alone program. This tutorial is directed at showing you how to interact with Jmol within a web page. Although the Jmol command set within a web page is more restrictive than in stand-alone mode, you do not need to install Jmol if you are viewing web pages. However, you will have to install Java.
