Research Experience

Carnegie Mellon University, Research & Teaching Assistant Model US freight transportation and associated energy use & emissions. Analyze consumer grocery purchases for life cycle assessment purposes. Assist teaching graduate course Civil Systems Planning & Pricing.

University of Massachusetts--Amherst, Research Assistant Determine spatial and temporal trends in bacteria loading along the Asnebumskit Brook in Holden, MA. Model bacteria loading in the Asnebumskit watershed. Evaluate possible sources of high bacteria counts within the Brook, including sediments, wildlife, domestic animals and storm-sewers. Develop sustainability summer program for high school students.
