In this paper expert system is proposed for the control of motion/trajectory of robotic arm. An algorithm is designed based on the mathematical equations for path planning and text analysis while keeping the errors of the arm to a minimum value. The study has been focused on implementing the algorithm for application of calligraphy with an idea for further extension to sketching using learning algorithm (based on Artificial Neural Networks)
