          VOTE ON LIVING WAGE LEGISLATION FOR ALLEGHENY COUNTY
                        December 4, 2001 at 5 PM
                          Gold Room, 4th Floor
                County Courthouse, 436 Grant St. Downtown

    Strong Living Wage Legislation Includes and Benefits

   * Full and Part Time County Workers (300 part time workers)
   * County Contractors, including non-profits (nearly 4000 workers)
   * All businesses receiving tax dollar subsidies (including thousands
     of future workers)

    Living Wage supporters will pack the Gold Room on December 4,
showing their support for a strong Living Wage bill and standing up
against corporate interests and Mr. Roddey- whom both are trying to
weaken the bill!
    Join us on December 4, to see that our County Council passes strong
legislation that invests our tax dollars in living wage jobs not poverty
wage jobs and begin working to create a sustainable community in which
ALL us can afford to live,work, and prosper.
