To help us focus the design of our product, we created this persona:

Chet Hillman
- 26 year old businessman
- Has a 20 minute bus commute to work
- Doesn't like to waste time
- Enjoys reading newspapers and knowing what's going on in the world
- Wants to be successful in the workplace
So with Chet in mind, here are some features we decided to include:
- Stop and destination alert: Chet rides the bus to work, so this would be helpful for him. We
decided to use ambient lighting on the edges of the device to do this, so people wouldn't be
interrupted while they read.
- Newspaper format: We designed our own format for a newspaper, which is similar to an rss feed online,
but with tabs along the bottom to select the category of articles you wish to see.
- One hand control/frisbee page flip: Since some people were unsure of how the page flip
would work, we added two squeeze buttons to the sides of the device, which would have to be
pressed in order to flick the device and advance it to the next page. This motion could also
be used to advance to the next category of articles while on the main screen of a newspaper.
Below is a shot of the interface of a typical newspaper, as well as what an article would look like.
