ADMINISTRATIVE ZONE

Chapter President
The Administration Zone is led by the Chapter President, Kyle Campbell, and is comprised of all the corresponding zone leaders on the executive board. It oversees all NSBE functions and assures that the chapter is both operating efficiently and making progress towards its goals effectively. As the top of the zone hierarchy, the Administrative Zone provides structure and communicates the goals set forth for the CMU chapter. All decisions that are made must ultimately pass through this zone for approval.
   MEMBERSHIP ZONE

The Membership Zone, led by the Chapter Vice President Jessica Daluz, is primarily responsible for actively recruiting and retaining outstanding proponents of the NSBE mission, which is to increase the number of Black engineers in the workplace. Because expansion and recruitment are necessary components for the organization, the Membership Zone works to maintain efficiency through member involvement and activities. In addition, it also receives feedback from the general body in order to improve the chapter as a whole.
FINANCE ZONE

The Financial Zone for our chapter is under the direction of the Treasurer, Nia Austin. It fulfills such duties associated with funding, which is necessary for the success of the organization, as well as ensures proper money distribution and management. This includes assurance of the availability of funds for most chapter events such as fundraisers, conferences, the National Convention, and various other activities. The Finance Zone is constantly brainstorming innovative ways of bringing funds to the organization.
COMMUNICATIONS ZONE

Headed by the Chapter Secretary, Ashley Hill, the Communications Zone serves as the voice of our chapter and maintains the flow of information between the leaders and members throughout the zones. It is responsible for all the public relations that occur between the CMU chapter and other organizations and businesses. Working with online, print, and digital media to transfer information of NSBE, the Communications Zone strives to provide accurate information and represent the organization in a positive light.
PROGRAMS ZONE

Programs Chair
The Programs Zone is overseen by the Programs Chairs Amandy Nwana and stands as the core of the CMU chapter. This zone is in charge of organizing and running all the programs associated with our chapter, whether it be small-scale activities or large events. The purposes of the programs are to enhance academic performance, increase community involvement, and develop character. The Programs Zone essentially prepares its members for future career opportunities.
