The Chapter Vice President has a multitude of responsibilities. She is in charge of developing programs, organizing meetings, serve as head of the Membership Zone, and help the Chapter President with any tasks he cannot fulfill.

Growing up in a non-English speaking family, Jessica has a very strong cultural background, and is very in touch with her Cape Verdi roots. Throughout her life she has learned to blend both her American and Cape Verdi cultures into what she believes to be her good qualities and personality.

Jessica has many different goals and aspirations in life, one of which is to take a more business focused approach in her career. Not yet sure of which path she will take, she knows that she wants to become an organizational leader and work with many different kinds of people. As of now, she is working towards her Bachelor's degree at Carnegie Mellon University and plans to continue to develop her conversational and leadership skills.
