Christ, by whose death the church on earth was born,
we would by faithful lives your name adorn
singing to greet your new creation's morn:
"Alleluia! Alleluia!"

Christ, in whose life we live eternally,
from bonds of sin and death you set us free.
Help us to serve and praise you joyfully:
"Alleluia! Alleluia!"

Christ, in whose love your church finds unity,
yet celebrates her rich diversity,
bind us as one in peace and charity.
"Alleluia! Alleluia!"

Christ, by whose truth your church on earth is led;
Christ, by whose Word and Sacrament we're fed:
come to us now in gifts of wine and bread.
"Alleluia! Alleluia!"

Christ, by whose call your church is sent to bear
your cross of suffering and your mission dare:
yours be our strength till all on earth declare:
"Alleluia! Alleluia!"
