I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with Brian MacWhinney at Carnegie Mellon University's Psychology Department. I recently finished my Ph.D. in Psychology at Penn State University, where I worked with Judy Kroll. During my doctoral training, I completed some research at the Nijmegen Institute for Cognition and Information in The Netherlands and the Cemanahuac Educational Community in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.

I am now running a bilingualism reading group here at CMU.

I was supported by the Research and Graduate Studies Office and Department of Psychology at PSU and by two grants from Sigma Xi.

My research has focused on the way in which bilinguals are able to know and use two languages. Presently, I am interested in the ways that meaning may differ across languages. You can view/print my dissertation by following this link.
