Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Fall and Spring Positions
Students interested in getting involved in research, conducting a thesis, or considering graduate school in the social sciences are encouraged to apply for a research assistant position in the Social Cognition and Judgment Lab. Gain valuable experience and expertise conducting experiments on the psychological processes that influence judgments and decisions. We require a work commitment of approximately 9 hours per week and offer course credit only. Work schedules are flexible. Please email Professor Morewedge (morewedge@cmu.edu) for more information about research assistant positions.

Summer Internship
Through the Center for Behavioral Decision Research, we offer summer internships. Last summer 14 students from around the globe worked in CBDR labs from June 1st to the end of July. Interns worked closely with faculty and graduate students running studies in the laboratory and the greater Pittsburgh community with our data truck. Some of them have begun collaborations with researchers here at CMU. Click here for an application and more information.
