Glassworking

Since Fall 2006, I have been taking hot glass classes at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. Most of my days are spent in front of a computer, so being able to work in a hot shop for 3 hours a week has been, at times, a very visceral experience for me.

In the Spring of 2007, I showed a piece at the Pittsburgh Glass Center's Glass Birthday Suit, an annual exhibit that showcases the work of regional glass artists. It's a pretty modest piece, but I was really proud of it. Below is a picture of it from the show.

I'd like to create a collection and show it at gallery at some point.
