I am a doctoral candidate at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Tepper
School of Business. My research interests are in the
economics of information systems.
Previously, I received a M.S. in System Design and Management from MIT (advisor:
Erik Brynjolfsson,
thesis: Unified communications: convergence of platforms and strategies of two software vendors, online thesisnew), a M.S. in Computer Science (advisor: Roy Campbell) from University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign, and a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from
NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. |

Before returning to academia, I worked in the high-technology industry for approximately 10 years. Most recently, I was a Principal Product Manager at Oracle USA Incorporated. Earlier, I worked at Verizon in product strategy, software development management, and software development.
