CMU public speaking
instructor Elizabeth Kalmanov is reading to her summer students about the
numerous amount of jobs available everywhere. After words she gave mock
interviews to her students in preparation for real job interviews in the
future. |

As you can tell, the
Russian born instructor says that she is very pleased with the way she
teaches and enjoys giving her students what she says, an opportunity to go
out in public, and succeed very well in it. |
“Swing low, sweet
chariots!”
says Tony Yu, a CMU student, a good friend of CMU summer workshop instructor
Lori Schomp, and a special guest instructor for the class’ recreation period.
Tony is teaching fellow CMU instructor Hannah Sypher as well as the entire
Workshop students and faculty members the art of swing dancing. |

Hannah, is now boogie-ing,
1940’s style with her student, and good buddy of mine Bryan Rieder |

Another CMU Summer
instructor, Jennifer Glover, is laying the ‘get down with fellow instructor,
and my personal one (instructor) Mark Chiarulli |
“Hey! Brandi
Chastain, Eat your heart out!” Says CMU Summer workshop
student Eddie when he showed off a dance move of his own.

While
fellow workshop student Jeremy gets a lesson in videography, by carrying a
camera tripod.

Even
Chief Instructor Mary Hart is learning how to “swing with the best of them”
even if the best, or the best in training, is her student, Dylan.
Moments
later, workshop instructor Lori , is teaching Dylan how to do a swing move
called “the butterfly”.
“WHAZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!”
says Jeremy while having lunch and a chat on a cell at Newell-Simon
Hall.
If
you look very closely, Eddie and Lori are looking up something very
interesting……..
……..Seriously,
it’s really Eddie being the center of attention on Lori’s computer.
While
Chief Instructor Mary is on her way back to the office…….
………..In the shadow of
Pitt. |

Where
the world is watching,
Communicating,
Learning, |
Talking,
Thinking,
And
sometimes both dressing,
And
Dancing with one another.
Through
a window of opportunity.
